Crazy (and not-so-crazy) concert contract riders

You know what a concert contract “rider” is, right.  It’s a document whose clauses outline what the talent demands in the way of on-stage and/or backstage perks.

Everyone is familiar with Van Halen’s famous demand for a backstage bowl of M&Ms with the brown ones removed.  (I blogged about the actual reason, as explained by David Lee Roth, years ago.  If you missed it, too bad.)
