Ruffin attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge on a football scholarship, proudly following in his father’s footsteps. He was named an All-SEC Lineman and helped push the team to SEC Championships in 1986 and 1988.

The friendships and experiences during his time at LSU sustained him for decades and served as the foundation for a successful business career. Always supporting his Tigers, Ruffin never missed a walk down Victory Hill, and so this Memorial at the top of Victory Hill is the perfect place to honor his legacy.
