Join Chris Elliott’s team “Twisted Blisters” in this year’s Alzheimer’s Services Walk to Remember!

Message from Chris:

I am very happy to once again be a part of the Alzheimer Services Walk to Remember on October 15th at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, serving as emcee for the event and putting in a team to walk for awareness.

Alzheimer Services does fantastic things for those dealing with the effects of Alzheimer’s Disease and other memory related impairments. For those who have dealt with Alzheimer’s in any capacity, you know as I do that the family members and friends who act as caregivers deal with more than anyone could imagine on a day-to-day basis, with each day offering new and unique challenges that can put an incredible amount of stress on them. If you’d like to join my team, Twisted Blisters, and walk with us on the 15th, click here.

Would love to see some of you join my team if you can, and if you could share walk info to your social followers that would be appreciated as well.

Join us on Saturday October 15th for the 2022 Alzheimer’s Services Walk to Remember, at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana. The Walk to Remember is the largest event in the Greater Baton Rouge area to raise awareness regarding Alzheimer’s disease and funds to support the programs and services Alzheimer’s Services provides to local families affected by Alzheimer’s or other memory-related impairments. This year’s honorary Walk Chair is LSU Women’s Basketball Coach Kim Mulkey. Coach Mulkey has seen the impact of Alzheimer’s firsthand with her fellow coach and friend, Pat Summitt (the legendary Tennessee Women’s Basketball coach diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s in 2011 and passed in 2016). To register for the walk, or to make a donation, please visit alzbr.org.
