Join us tonight (12/5) for the 3rd Annual Celebrity Lip Sync BR; benefiting the American Cancer Society

Join me tonight as I take part in judging the “3rd Annual Celebrity Lip Sync BR” taking place tonight at 7 (12/5) at The Varsity, and benefiting the American Cancer Society.

Inspired by Jimmy Fallon’s Lip Sync Battle, this is a live competition featuring eight teams of local Baton Rouge celebs who will “belt out” their favorite songs.

The winning team who raises the most money and gets the most votes will be crowned the LIP SYNC CHAMPION.

That’s tonight at The Varsity — Doors Open at 6:30, show starts at 7. Tickets are just $25 at the door, and you can get all the details or donate online at

The “3rd Annual Celebrity Lip Sync BR” is brought to you by Young Professionals for the American Cancer Society.

Preview the fun on their Facebook Page.

Celebrity contestant teams for the fundraiser include Wendy Lipsey and Lori Steele, Chase Landry and Chase Cole, Liz Firesheets and Sam Fisicaro, Brittney Lorio and Brett Blanchard, David St. Romain and Tim St. Romain, Tyler Foltz and Mollie Thompson, Dana Cassidy and Cathy Rosenfeld, AND Sumit Patel and Niraja Patel. The judges for the competition are previous Lip Sync BR celebrity contestants Chad Sabadie, Devin Boyd, Lance Arvel, and Eagle 98.1’s own Michelle Southern. The Master of Ceremonies will be previous celebrity contestant Myles Laroux.

All proceeds will benefit American Cancer Society and their mission to eliminate cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer through research, education, advocacy, and service. Cancer survivors get in free by emailing organizers at, and will be entered into a raffle to win one of ten VIP tickets donated by Be The Focus Branding Agency.
