Your smartphone may be tracking your every move

According to consumer advocate Jeff Rossen, if you have an iPhone or an Android, chances are that every single thing you do is being tracked, location by location.  I learned how to fix the problem.  Using my own iPhone, here’s what you do:

From your iPhone’s home page, select SETTINGS:

Next, select PRIVACY:

Next, select LOCATION SERVICES:

Next, select SYSTEM SERVICES:

Next, select FREQUENT LOCATIONS.  (The indicator will probably show “ON.”  If it is “OFF,” there is no need to do anything.  You’re good to go.)

Finally, turn the switch to “OFF.”  I also recommend you click “CLEAR HISTORY.”
