WTH, NBA?

As you know, I am a Harley-Davidson motorcycle rider and have been for years.  Now, I don’t follow the Business News closely, but I have seen some articles indicating that Harley-Davidson is losing market share.  In other words, fewer people are buying Harleys.

So in an apparent effort to attract new riders, Harley-Davidson has signed an endorsement deal with the National Basketball Association.  The world-famous Harley-Davidson logo will be appearing on the jerseys of the Milwaukee Bucks.  That’s not a bad move, considering the fact that Milwaukee is the home of Harley-Davidson.

Sweet, huh?

Well, not for Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jabari Parker, or any other member of the Bucks.  According to the standard NBA contract, players aren’t allowed to ride motorcycles.

How’s that for irony?!!!
