About The Project – This super-clinic will encompass nearly the entire fifth floor at Ochsner Medical Complex – The Grove. The project is a $6.8 million investment, which includes over $700,000 in pediatric-specific medical equipment. The total square footage of the expansion is approximately 18,500 square feet, with a dedicated pediatric waiting room of nearly 3,000 square feet.
Ochsner Medical Complex – The Grove has two main features, a 10-bed surgical hospital featuring optimal hospital rooms and a five-story medical office building (MOB). The Grove surgical hospital works in sync with Ochsner Medical Center – Baton Rouge (OMCBR), focusing on same-day and overnight surgeries, allowing OMCBR to focus on critical/complex inpatient surgical offerings. The MOB houses a plethora of medical providers working in primary care and multi-specialty clinics, many offering after-hours and weekend appointments. With an O Bar onsite, Ochsner Baton Rouge ensures patients have a digital infrastructure that complements a physical presence.
