We are limited in the cancers we can regularly screen for, with breast, colon, cervical, prostate, and lung cancers as the only types with early-detection possibilities.
Unfortunately, some of the deadliest cancers are found too late. More than 70% of cancer deaths have no recommended screening at all.
But that’s all about to change.
Ochsner Baton Rouge is now offering the new Galleri test. It can detect more than 50 types of cancer through one simple blood test. It’s the future, but the best part is that it’s available today!
There is a cash option, but you may qualify for a free test. The Ochsner academics and research team is enrolling participants age 50 years and up who are not actively being evaluated or treated for cancer.
