Alzheimer’s Services Walk to Remember

November 6, 2021 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join Eagle 98.1 for the Annual Alzheimer’s Services Walk to Remember, November 6th from 8am-Noon. This year the walk will be held at the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana Headquarters in the heart of Baton Rouge off I-10 next to Bluebonnet.

Registration is now open. Visit ALZBR.org for details.

(The Annual Walk to Remember is one of Alzheimer’s Services largest awareness and fundraising events of the year and a community event for the Greater Baton Rouge and Capital area region.

It’s a one-mile walk route, live music with local band Three Blind Mice, a Memory Market full of local exhibitors, free cold drinks and jambalaya bowls, and the Children’s Village. The walk is wheelchair, walker, stroller, and wagon accessible!

The Children’s Village is a fun destination for families at the walk. We’ll have a fall themed scavenger hunt you can use along the walk route, clowns making balloon animals, face painting, carnival style game stations, a live firetruck on site, Fall themed coloring craft, and a Fall-themed family photo set up and backdrop.)
