Clearwater, FL – July 24, 2025 – The wrestling world and pop culture community are in mourning as Hulk Hogan (real name Terry Gene Bollea) reportedly has died at the age of 71 following a cardiac arrest at his Clearwater home early Thursday morning.

Paramedics were called to the residence after reports of a cardiac emergency. Hogan was transported by stretcher and pronounced dead at the scene. His manager, Chris Volo, later confirmed the news to NBC Los Angeles, stating Hogan passed away surrounded by his family.

This comes just weeks after online rumors claimed Hogan was on his deathbed or in a coma, which his wife Sky publicly denied. She had described his heart as “strong” following a recent neck surgery.
